Debi - Mickey just tried her again and she didn't answer but she called him right back. She said he has pains in lower & upper back - a muscle sticking out in his upper back. They were supposed to give him something pain an hour ago but haven't yet. Said it has been getting progressively worse since Sunday. She said for you to call her at #210-2556 - you may have to dial the (502).

Debra Lou Short (Dissell) scotty is still waiting for pain meds, although they keep promising therm to him. David, you are right...way too much lately.

Cara Patterson (Short) In case she didn't answer - She was talking to Mickey and all of a sudden said "I gotta go - bye" so the doctor must've come in. Or - maybe you were calling and she had to answer you.

Cara Patterson (Short) Mickey said they thought it was muscle related for Scotty. I know that muscle spasms can be very painful - Mickey was having them today and I had to come home from work it scared him so bad. He thought he had done something more to his back. By the time I got home though it had calmed down some.

How come Sherri was on until 9:40 the other night and we were sent out of the room before 9:00?

I am in for Bunco and Tuesdays are good.

Bunco at Debi's the first time will suit me. I won't have to drive far. How is Sherri going to come up with the airfare to play monthly with us?

Spring Break in Florida this year? Count me in!

Kristie: You will be far enough removed from surgery to fly down and recover there.

David: Doors close and others open. Last year, I had a very hard time with that. I could not find any doors to open. What a difference a year makes. I'm not saying I will ever be 100%, but I am closer than I have been for many years.

Praying, being around family, and putting out positive vibes surely helped. I could not have done it without Jim.

Sherri: How in the Blue Hell did you get to stay on the computer so long?

I am not investing in a "Short" family floor at any hospital. I want you ALL to get well so we can play together this Spring (You all keep telling me it is coming) and Summer.

I guess I am like Lisa, all alone and talking to myself.
I do not have any jokes to entertain myself with and my brother (Lisa's DAVIE) is in charge of the QUOTE OF THE DAY.

I will share my good news. I used a 7 (count them) seven letter word in Scrabble while in Florida. My first one ever! I think the word was S-t-r-a-i-g-h-t and of course it is 8 letters because I had to hook it on to an already spelled word. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, it can be done.
