Bruce Lee Fugate, 79, passed away January 9, 2025 after a long battle with emphysema. He was born in Louisville, KY on May 19, 1945. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. A journeyman tool- maker by trade, he later be- came a toolroom supervisor at WABCO, later Rexroth, in Lexington, working there for 36 years. Bruce was also a highly skilled craftsman, husband, father, and friend. Bruce was preceded in death by his father Wilson Fugate (1911-1973), his mother Olga Quisenberry Fugate (1916-1986) and his wife of 46 years Carrie Faye Man-ning Fugate (1943-2021). He is survived by his son Josh- ua. No services are to be held per his request.
