Loveland High School Class Of 1980
Holly Hogan (Vallera)
Died from head injury right around graduation 1980; fell out of the back of a Jeep.
Ray Carlson
Phil Henley was truly one of the kindest, most gentle, yet competitive souls I ever had the privilege to meet.
The last time I played against him in ping-pong he had developed a spin serve that I was unable to manage.
Needless to say I did not deserve to be at the same table as he on that day. He was taken from this world in the early
a.m. hours of June 29th 1980. He did fall out of a jeep and if, I recollect correctly, sustained massive head trauma. Phil was a multi-talented
individual. His life held a promising future. It was a sad and tragic loss.
