Reverend Dean Walker, 48, of Loveland, passed away on April 11, 2010. He was born in Denver, Colorado on May 12, 1961 to Ronald and Joyce Walker. He lived in Hawaii for 14 years and moved to Loveland, Colorado in 2006. He graduated from Thompson Valley High School in 1980; Aimes Community College with an Associate's Degree; Denver University in 1985 with a degree in biology; University of Northern Colorado with a teaching degree; Iliff School of Theology and was ordained in 2008.
Dean taught science at Kapaa High School in Hawaii for 14 years. He was a member of the Elks in Hawaii. He was a volunteer, and taught "Bible 101" at First Christian Church.
