Peter Thane (Pete) Klassen was born 21 Apr 1962 in Kimball, Nebraska, and died 26 May 1995 in Douglas, Wyoming.
He moved to Loveland in Jan 1970 from Wichita Ks. He graduated from Thompson Valley High School in 1980, where he lettered in wrestling, gymnastics and golf. He completed vocational training at Larimer Co Voc-Tech while in high school and studied mechanical drafting at Ailms Community College in Greeley. He graduated from IALC/Martin Academy of Industrial Science in Fort Collins. Mr. Klassen worked for Woodward Governor Co. for 13 years as a computer-aided drafting designer. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, fishing, bicycling, skiing, golfing, hunting, four-wheeling and music. Pete had two children Karlene and Kody.
