Briana Marie STERUD , 28, of Loveland, passed away Nov. 20, 2010.
Bri was born on Jan. 10, 1982, in Fort Collins, Colo., to Donald Bruce and Penelope (Dormont) Sterud.
Briana lived in Loveland all of her life and graduated from Thompson Valley High School in 2000.
She worked as a waitress for a number of restaurants in Loveland. She was a certified nursing assistant and enjoyed working with the elderly and handicapped.
Bri was a free spirit and enjoyed just hanging out with her friends and family.
She is survived by her mother, Penelope “Penny” Sterud of Johnstown, Colo.; brother, Eric Sterud of Maryland; maternal grandmother, Jean Dormant of Seattle, Wash.; her longtime friend, Jeremy Rhodes of Loveland; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Briana was preceded in death by her father, Donald Sterud, on Feb. 18, 2003; grandfather Arnie Sterud; grandmother LaVerne Sterud; grandfather Dr. Richard E. Dormont; and uncle Gary Sterud.
She was loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Home in Loveland. Cremation has been completed.

I will always remember Briana with a smile on her face. She was such a loving and caring person and she could always make me laugh. I havent seen her in a long time and when I heard she passed it broke my heart. She was so sweet and kind and I will always remember her that way.
