Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 22, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Michael O'Dwyer officiating. Burial will be at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Calvillo Funeral Home of Lubbock.

He died Monday, April 18, 2005.

He was born Aug. 3, 1971 in Stevens Point, Wis. to George Sr. and Janie Sanchez. He married Charla Flores March 2, 1990 in Lubbock. Mr. Sanchez was a lifelong resident of Lubbock and worked construction for Lee Lewis Construction. He was a pitcher for the softball team "Da Klick." He was loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed.

Survivors include his wife of Lubbock; a son, George Sanchez III of Lubbock; three daughters, Alyssa, Chelsey and Dennise Sanchez, all of Lubbock; parents, George Sr. and Janie Sanchez, both of Lubbock; a brother, Dennis Lee Sanchez of Lubbock; two sisters, Liza Villarreal, and Martina Sanchez, both of Lubbock; and paternal grandmother, Eliza Sanchez of Bryan.

Pallbearers will be Rudy Perez, Thomas Hernandez, Jacob Flores, Carmen Perez, Ruben Perez Jr., and Paul Perez.
