Danny Harmon

A memorial service for Daniel C. "Danny" Harmon, 31, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Remembrance Garden of Riverbend Church on Highway 360 in Austin. He died in Austin on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003.

Danny was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., on March 19, 1972, and moved to Lubbock in 1974. He graduated from Coronado High School in 1990 and attended South Plains College before moving to Austin. He married Kim Doskocil in Austin on July 29, 1999. He was self-employed in the landscaping business and was a songwriter, singer, and accomplished guitarist. He was a member of Riverbend Church in Austin.

Danny is survived by his wife Kim and two sons, Noah and Nate of the home; his parents, Frank and LaJuana Harmon of Lubbock; two brothers, Tim Harmon and wife Dominique of Lubbock, and Scott Harmon and wife Susan of Plainview; one sister, Missy Jackson and husband Lane of Ropesville; his grandmother, Geraldine Harmon of Grand Junction, Colo.; four nephews; and two nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Childrens Home of Lubbock or Texas Boys Ranch of Lubbock.
