Robyn Lynn Williams of O'Donnell departed this life on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the age of 38. She was born August 10, 1972 in Lubbock. Robyn received her Registered Nurse degree from Texas Tech University in 1994 and has worked at University Medical Center for the last 18 years. In 2005, she was instrumental in opening the Cardiac Care Unit and worked there as a nurse manager. Robyn married Brad Williams March 24, 1989 in O'Donnell, Texas. The couple lived in O'Donnell and were members of the First Baptist Church.
Her memory will be cherished by her husband, Brad; daughter, Shelby Tomlinson and husband Brandon of O'Donnell; parents, Scott and Jan Alverson of Lubbock and Kerwin and Brenda Macha of Huntsville; maternal grandmother, Jimmie Hough of Oklahoma; and sister Shanna Dean and husband Damon of Post.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Kenneth Williams in March, 1996.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Combest Family Funeral Homes in O'Donnell. Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, January 14, 2011 at First Baptist Church in O'Donnell. Interment will follow at the O'Donnell Cemetery.
