Adrian Bernal

Adrian Anthony Bernal, a life long resident of Lubbock, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2007, at the age of 33.

He was born on June 23, 1974, in Lubbock, to Cesareo Bernal and Andrea (Martinez) Bernal. He graduated from Lubbock High School. Adrian married April Marie Marin. He worked as a warehouse manager for the Gage Van Horn Distribution Center. He enjoyed playing poker and being with friends and family. Adrian participated in summer youth programs at West Texas State Union. He attended and served as an usher at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Adrian was preceded in death by his grandparents and father, Cesareo Bernal, in 1996.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, April; sons, Vincent Bernal, Conrad Bernal, and Maximous Bernal, all of Lubbock; daughters, Alexis Bernal and Amore Bernal, both of Lubbock, with another child on the way; mother, Andrea Bernal of Lubbock; birth mother, Pearl Romero of Oklahoma City; brother, Fabian Montoya of Lubbock; and a sister, Bridgette Bernal of Lubbock.

The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today, June 28, 2007, at White Memorial Chapel. A funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2007, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with Rev. Heriberto Mercado as celebrant. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
