Dennis Buhr

Gone but not forgotten!

Dennis J. "Cat" Buhr, 63, Casco, passed away peacefully at home in Renee's arms on Thursday, June 9, 2016. He was born November 30, 1952 to the late Anthony and Ella Mae (Baudhuin) Buhr. Dennis married Renee Guilette on February 9, 1980 at St. Hubert's in Rosiere.

Dennis served his country as a member of the US Army in Okinawa and Korea. Dennis spent most of his career as a pipefitter and construction worker. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, playing cards and socializing with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Renee; his children, Brian (Andrea) Buhr, Phoenix, AZ, Nicole Buhr, Green Bay, WI; Grandchildren, Delilha and Conrad Buhr; Sisters, Arlene (Mark) Denis, Lynne (Michael) Evanoff, Tammy (Chuck) Bliss; Brother-in-law, Allen (Debbie) Guilette, and Lori (Hal) Bouche; Nieces and Nephews and by many friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, Tony and Ella Mae; in-laws, George and Bernice Guilette; Brothers Tony Buhr Jr. and Chuck Buhr; Brothers and sister-in-law, Jean DeKeyser, Lee Guilette and Rod Guilette.

Visitation will be held at St. Hubert's Church, Rosiere on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 3-7 PM. Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday, June 13th from 9-11 AM at St. Hubert's Church. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 AM With Fr. Tony Birdsall and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with full military rights. Wiesner-Massart Funeral Homes are handling arrangements.
