Gone but not forgotten!

Joseph C. and Bernice A. Ruben, both 53, Dyckesville, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, August 11, 2005, as a result of a home fire.  Joseph was born June 1, 1952, in Tonet to the late Lionel and Lorraine (Jonet) Ruben.  Bernice was born May 16, 1952 in Dyckesville to Angela (Boulanger) Wery and the late Clifford L. Wery.  On September 5, 1970, Joe and Bernice were married at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville.  They will be remembered for their crafts, and volunteering in the community.  They loved spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Survivors include two children and their spouses, Katherine and Paul Prevost, New Franken, and their children, Patrick, Andrew and Allison; Keith and Dawn Ruben, Denmark and their children, Timothy, Joshua, and Brandon.  Joseph is survived by Mary and Wayne Hallet, Luxemburg.  Bernice is survived by David and Donna Wery, Sugarbush; Sue and Craig Van Schynde, Chris Wery, Cindy and Dave Dart, Sharon LeFevre, all of Green Bay; Dan and Kim Wery, Dyckesfille; Karen Wery, Green Bay; and Dennis Wery; nieces and nephews.

They are preceded in death by Anthony Ruben, Tome LeFevre and Scott Wery.

Friends may call at the MCMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2005.  Parish prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday led by Sr. Marlene Dimmerling Parish Director.  Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville.  Funeral 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Joseph Bestler officiating.  Burial in Parish Cemetery.

A special thank you is extended to the neighbors, Luxemburg, New Franken and Casco Fire Departments, the Luxemburg Rescue Squad, Kewaunee County Sheriffs Department and the Staff of Aurora Hospital Emergency Center.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
