Gone but not forgotten!

Linda Strnad, a sixteen year old rural Casco girl, was killed in a car-train crash in Kewaunee County about 2:15 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 1968.

Services for Miss Strnad will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Casco.  The Rev. R. J. Hodik will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Linda was born April 4, 1952 on the home farm in the town of Lincoln and was a sophmore at Luxemburg-Casco High School.  She was a member of the Casco Youth Club and Young Ladies Sodality of Holy Trinity Church.

Survivors are her parents; three sisters, Katherine, 14; Christine, 8; and Julia, 11; a brother, Andrew, 4; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Strnad, Sr., Rt. 1, Algoma; and the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lucy Laurent, Rio Creek.  Linda's mother is the former Carol Laurent.

Friends may call at the Wiesner-Massart Funeral Home, Casco, where the rosary will be prayed at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
