In the blink of an eye, 20 years is gone. Wow! As I look back on all those years since high school, I feel like I am now in the 'honeymoon' years. :) I am happily married to a wonderful man (Ryan Likkel-LC class of 1990) and together we have three Amazing boys. My first 10 years out of school were spent doing a variety of different things. Attending Reformed Bible College for one year. (one year was plenty, school was never my 'thing'!) Then worked as an Activity's Director for Alzheimer's patients in Michigan until early 1995. In late 1995, I moved back to Washington where I married Ryan in 1996. In 1999, our son Samuel was born, in 2000 Maxwell joined us and then in 2001, Jackson was born. (yes, those were serious baby popping years!). Since then, I have been a full-time stay-at-home mom. Everyday, I am thankful for this Grand Adventure that God chose for me. I love my job!! My kids all attend Lynden Christian. Sam will be a middle-schooler this year (Gasp!), Max will be in the fourth grade and our 'baby' Jack will be the second grade. Ryan co-owns a Refinery Maintenance company (Western Refinery Services). I volunteer at school whenever I can. This coming school year I will be taking over the pizza lunch program at Lynden Christian. (pizza, organizing and getting to be at school, now that is 'my thing'!)
We are involved at Sonlight CRC. Our church is growing and we are so thankful for the people there.
God has been Good & He IS Faithful.I am thankful for where He has taken me over the last 20 years and looking forward, with GREAT anticipation for the next 20! :)
