Vicky Ralls, Barbara Patch, and I were great friends in elementary school at Adrian. Vicky and I would clasp our hands over our heads and shake them in a victory wave everytime Ms. Killian, our first grade teacher, used a word that started with a "V". We were proud of the V in our first names Vicky and Valerie! There weren't so many V names back then. Maybe not now either. I'll keep waving, Vicky.
So very sorry to hearanother one of "our own" has begun a new journey...I remember Victoria's smile, how smart she was & envied her height! May the memories she left behind continue to make the world a better place.
