Jerry was in most of my classes at Rowland Elementary K-6th, and we remained very good friends throughout our years at Greenview and Brush. He was one of those friends that sometimes I went to his house to hang out, and he to mine.
He ALWAYS had a smile on his face, and had a memorable and hearty laugh. Though I haven't seen him in 40 years, knowing that he is gone saddens me deeply.
