My mom was a very sweet person. We called her Suzy mostly. Anyway in high school she met my dad and they married in 1973. I was born in 1976, they divorced in 1993 and she married Barney Behan the same year. She was again a very helpful person and worked with children as a tutor for a while. Yet we always knew her life would be a fairly short one being a childhood diabetic. The last six years of her life were tragic due to her health, but her spirit didn't waver. I guess if you were lucky enough to have known her you know exactly the spirit I speak of. A warm, funny, spiritual, heart oriented person. Not perfect, she was naïve, could react too quick, but she was the first to admit her faults. I miss her dearly.
