DENNIS WAYNE GORLEY
October 12, 1948 - December 26, 2025
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Wayne Gorley of Woodinville, Washington, who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Dennis leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Dennis may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
Dennis retired from King County Roads in 2005 after 36 years there. He plays lots of golf January through early November. Cast a fly line occasionally. Come Thanksgiving the red suit comes on and I begin sharing the joys of Christmas.
Dennis is survived by his wife Glena of 58 years, daughter Tina, son Derek and his three daughters Ashley, Mariah, and Makenzie.

Dennis and I became friends in 1959 after my family moved to Lynnwood from Eugene. It was so good to see Dennis at our 50th Class Reunion and learn that he was a Santa at Christmas. I never expected that it would be the last time we would see or speak again. From Dennis' Facebook account you can easily see that he led a good life and enjoyed life with his family. Until we meet again.

Dennis was and will always be, a friend to many. Sad that he is no longer with us physically...but he was of a personality that will remain with us in memories for a lifetime. You will be missed but always remembered my friend.

Dennis was one of my best friends in high school. Lost touch when I went to colledge. Sad to see so many class mates fade away.Pat Echelbarger
I believe Dennis and I were in Mr. Elmer's 7th grade class at Lynnwood Jr High. He was always a friendly kid and an all around good guy. I think he and I shared "peaks" during tests. Mr. Elmer never caught us.

I didn't know Dennis in high school, but I met him in this website a several years ago. We communicated several times. He was a very honorable man in my opinion. It is sad to lose good people. My sympathies to his family.
