BRYANT — Betty Jo Martin, 65, of Bryant went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 18, 2009.
She was born Feb. 15, 1944, in Little Rock, Ark., to the late Wallace Joe Tidwell and Estermer Flora Gilliland Tidwell.
She was the manager of Security ‘U’ Stor and Lock Company for 27 years. Betty was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Bryant. Her hobbies included reading, sewing and designing floral arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Larry Joe Tidwell; and her husband of 22 years, Joe Dean Martin. She is survived by son, Joe Wallace Martin of Little Rock; sisters, Linda Jo Akers of Bryant, JoAnne Collins and Carolyn Jo Dodson and her husband Jerry, all of Hot Springs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2009, at the Roller Drummond Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home (455-5800).
