Birmingham, Ala. - Dr. Bruce O. Barger, 49, of Birmingham, Ala., formerly of Blytheville, a surgeon at University Hospital, died Tuesday.  Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Rideout's Valley Funeral Home of Birmingham.  Graveside service will  be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mimosa Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, Tenn. Memorials may be made to the Biological Therapy Institute, Franklin, Tenn. or to the University of Alabama, Hematology and Oncology Research Fund.  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Peggy Alsup Barger; a son, Brian D. Barger of Birmingham; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irwin E. Barger of Little Rock; and four brothers, Bobby Barger, Billy Barger, Boyce Barger and Bryon Barger, all of Little Rock.
