Mr. Kleinschmidt Posted Sunday, September 27, 2009 08:01 PM 6th_grade_001.jpg Do you remember going to a nursing home at Christmas time and entertaining the old folks there. I only remember Shirley Fille doing a modern dance. Anyone remember anything else that year.
I also remember losing the class election to Steve Jensen.
Dick Meinken and I did a science project at a Cincinnati Fair that made the evening news. It was a sputnik made from a ping pong ball that circled a balloon painted as the earth, held up by a vacuum cleaner exhaust.
What ever happened to Diane Bolson?

RE: Mr. Kleinschmidt Posted Monday, September 28, 2009 02:24 PM I remeber being a lieutenant crossing guard.......and Dick Meinken was the Captain.....also, I remember that we were playing a JR. High Football (8th grade) game against Marymount......I was our halfback....weren't you the QB Larry??......You ( or whoever was) got hurt and Mr. Boss ( Mr. Bop!!)..switched me over to Q.B.......I think I ran a "73 Counter" about 7 times in a row.....'till you recovered and came back in......Funny thing was that the head ref for that game was Mr. Klienschmidt!!.....he showed up in one of our H/S games our Senior year as well!!........ |

RE: Mr. Kleinschmidt Posted Monday, October 19, 2009 09:10 PM When the University of Cincinnati started a men's varsity soccer program, Dick Kleinschmidt was the Head Coach for its first two seasons: 1973 & 1974. Prior to that, he was an assistant coach with the Cincinnati Comets of the American Soccer League. He passed away a number of years ago. |
