I REMEMBER THAT PAT WAS ALWAYS READY WITH A SMILE AND A LAUGH.  IT'S FUNNY HOW

THINGS SEEM TO FLOW THROUGH YOUR MIND, THINGS YOU WOULDN'T

NORMALLY REMEMBER, UNLESS JOLTED TO THE FORE BY HEARING ABOUT

AN OLD FRIEND/CLASSMATE THAT HAS PASSED ON OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE.

I THINK THAT WE WERE ALL VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE GONE TO SCHOOL WHERE WE DID,

AND TO HAVE HAD THE EXPERIENCE TO HAVE SUCH GREAT FRIENDS IN SCHOOL.

I'LL TAKE THIS TIME TO TELL ALL YOU GUYS THAT I REMEMBER YOU ALL, THINK OF

HIGH SCHOOL WITH FOND MEMORIES, AND FEEL FORTUNATE TO HAVE BEEN FRIENDS

WITH ALL OF YOU, AS WELL AS PAT AND OUR OTHER FRIENDS THAT HAVE DIED.  KNOWING ALL

OF YOU, SHARING YOUR VALUES, AND GROWING UP WITH YOU HAS MADE ME A BETTER PERSON....

AND THAT'S TRUE.....THANKS FOR ALL YOUR FRIENDSHIPS, I THINK OF OUR CLASS OFTEN.......

TAKE CARE, AND LOVE LIFE........GOD SPEED PATTY....GOD SPEED...............JIMMY

Our belief and faith in God gave us strong foundations growing up in the times and place we did.

That faith has sustained us through the journeys we have been on since we went out into the world as young adults in 1964.

It still amazes me that those four years at MHS were so endearing and bonded us spiritually after all these years.  Think about that.  Four years out of sixty five for most of us!  And some of you were together before that.  We are, indeed, a family scattered about.

When one of us passes from this earth, it does cause the memory gates to open and our lives come back before us and the sounds and smells of changing classes in the hallways of MHS.  That is when I begin to remember individuals because how we interacted during those brief moments said a lot about us.

Patty was one of the sweetest and kindest girls I knew.  She always had a kind word for me and a BIG smile.  I am not surprised to learn that she went on to be successful with her artistic spirit.  Her success goes beyond that, however, in a long marriage and motherhood and the lives she touched with her art and love.

To her husband, daughters, grandchildren, Mother, brother, rest of immediate family and friends, smile each day as you remember something she said or did.

Jim Facciuto was correct in his post when he says we were very luck to have known each other.....and I, too, know that I am a better person because of our growing up  together.

I remember all of you with a smile and a tear.  God bless us all......and God speed, Patty.
