Scott was a very nice person. I remember when we were kids, a number of us.....Scott, Wayne, and a few other guys from our class built a go cart using an old lawn mower engine that Scotty had.  He and Wayne actually did most of the hard work, as they were much more talented than I was at fixing things and building engines , steering mechanisms, and the like. 

We rode that contraption all over the place, mostly up and down Dawson road.  We had a ball.  We ran that bad boy until it finally gave out.  I'll never forget when Scotty's brother , Lance, lost his life in an automobile accident.  we were all pretty young when that happened, and I will never forget how that affected me....and a number of guys that knew Lance and Scotty well.  I remember not knowing what to say to Scotty when I found out about the accident.  Scotty took it pretty hard, as we all did. Scott loved his brothers, and even though they were older than us, they were always very nice to us. 

Scott was a kind individual who knew how to have fun and always included anyone who was around in whatever was going on.  Scott, I'm sure, will be missed by his family and friends, and I'll remember that Scott always had a smile on his face and a kind heart.  I'm sure he and his brothers are working on a '57 Chevy right now......complete with dual quad Holly's, Lake pipes, and baby moons.  God speed Scotty Houston.......God speed.
