Visitation 9:30 A.M., Tuesday until time of service at 10:30 A.M. at the Ascension Lutheran Church, 7333 Pfeiffer Road. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Schmidt-Dhonau Funeral Home serving the family.
I admired Bruce from the time I first met him. Just a great all-around guy. One of the best baseball players I ever saw. The guy was a natural-born hitter. Bruce had a great sense of humor and had a certain maturity to him that made him seem like he was destined for great things. Used to run into him occasionally on the UC campus. Was very sorry to learn of his unfortunate and untimely passing.
