Paula Gay Monahan (nee Sands) of Cincinnati, Ohio peacefully went to be with Jesus on July 21st, 2025. She was surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Paula was born on November 8th, 1946 and is survived by her two daughters Anddi Shepherd (Michael) and Kendall Borowski (Nick) her three grandchildren Jordan Shepherd, Austin Shepherd and Kaya Borowski. Her siblings Rod Sands, Sheila Jones, Celeste Alter and the late Tookie Kripp. Paula also leaves behind several beloved long time friends.

Paula was a proud graduate of the College of Mt. St. Joseph at the age of 40. She loved spending time with her family and friends hosting parties, celebrations and holidays.

Paula was a devoted Christian and an active member of Crossroads Church, attending services, bible studies and volunteering regularly.

A celebration of life will be held in the Chapel at Crossroads Church (Oakley) on August 9th, 2025 with a gathering from 10-11 am, service from 11-12, and reception from 12-2 pm.

Paula was a bright and cheerful person so we ask that you wear bright colors to help us celebrate her life and spirit.
