Phillip DeMasters was born June 22, 1943 and died of cancer Nov. 3, 2008.
Phillip was survived by his son, Derk DeMasters of Sidney, NE and his wife and 2 children. Also his daughter, Dena DeMasters of Paso Robles, Ca.

I was flabbergasted to hear that Phillip had died. I remember Phillip and I being inseparable friends from First Grade through Jr. Hi and even into high school. If I wasn't at his house for a weekend, he was at my house. We rode horses, roped, rode bicycles and loved doing all the same things. I remember we won a prize for a 4-H demonstration we did together about mixing cattle feed. I remember going to fairs with him. We lost contact for a lot of years, but I have often thought of him. I'm so sorry to learn of his passing.
