Robert Griffith Donleavey was born on November 14, 1942, in San Francisco, Ca., and passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2009, in Fresno, Ca.

Bob was raised in Madera, Ca., served in the California National Guard in the sixties, and recently retired fron the US Bureau of Reclamation, National Resources Conservation Service.

He died after a seven year battle with lung cancer. We wish to thank Dr. G. Thomas Hackett for his compassion and dedication to caring for Bob.

Bob is survived by his uncle, William M. Donleavey of Fresno, uncle and aunt, Dain and Janet Lones of Palos Verdes, Ca.; cousins, Megan L. Allen and Deborah L. Stanley of Los Altos, Ca., Dorothy G. Leitz, of Los Angeles, Ca, and Barbara L. Carr of Newport Beach, CA.
