Donna Tognetti Barsotti passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008 in Fresno, CA. She was born on February 17, 1941 in Marlia (Capannori), Provincia di Lucca, Italy, the daughter of Luigi and Livia Tognetti. Donna came to the United States in 1955 at the age of 14. A graduate of Madera High School in 1961, Donna began her 47 year career in the Title and Escrow Insurance business with Security Title Insurance Co. in Madera. This later became Safeco Title and ultimately Chicago Title. Her knowledge and dedication to work as a senior escrow officer/supervisor was recognized as a true asset to the business. She was a long time member of St. Joachim's Catholic Church, Italian Catholic Federation and the California Escrow Association. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father Aladiono "Bronco" Unti.
