Royann, age 63, a native and lifelong resident of Madera passed away June 6, 2009 at Nancy Hinds Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Grace Sordi.  Royann was a homemaker and graduate of Madera High School, class of 1963, where she will be remembered for her talent as the head majorette for the Madera High School Band.  Her fondness of music continued later in life as a band booster parent.  She is survived by Jim Cappelluti her husband of 44 years; two sons Bret and his wife Stephanie and Jeff all of Madera; brother, Roy Joseph Sordi of Napa; sister Evonne Gilman of El Grove; two grandchildren, Isabella and Christopher Cappelluti of Madera; brother-in-law Rod Cappelluti and numerous nieces and nephews.
