Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of
Mr. Roger Lee Lewis
Mr. Roger Lee Lewis, age 62, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on June 24, 1951 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late, Charles William and Mildred Lucille Ford Lewis. He was raised in the Brooksburg community and attended the Brooksburg Baptist Church. He was a 1969 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. Roger was employed from 1969-1992 with Reliance Electric in Madison. He also had worked with Demaree Motors, A. Dattilo Fruit Company and Wayne Green's Small Engine Repair. He enjoyed motorcycles, traveling, socializing and being with his family. He was Baptized at the Ryker's Ridge Baptist Church. Roger died on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at 8:45 p.m. at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.
A LOVING FAMILY
Roger will be missed by his loving son, Derrick L. Lewis of Deputy, Indiana; his loving sisters, Ruth Ann Burton of Hanover, Indiana, Judy Peters and her husband, Kerry of Madison, Indiana, Janet Kay Macrander and her husband, Gayle of Brooksburg, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles William Lewis died, October 25, 2003, his mother, Mildred Lucille Ford Lewis died, April 19, 2006, his son, Rustin Ray Lewis died, August 23, 2006, his brother, Robert Allen Lewis, his brother in law, Darrell Burton.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. by Brother Joe Binford at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Brooksburg Cemetery, Brooksburg, Indiana
VISITATION
Friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.
MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brooksburg Cemetery Association or Hospice of King's Daughters' Hospital. Cards are available at the funeral home.
