I remember Pat playing Ado Annie in the musical Oklahoma.. I listened to old tapes of our whole show recently and her performance of " Caint Say No" was awesome!
Oh, yes, I also remember what a fantastic job Pat did with Ado Annie, she brought the character to life!! I remember being so impressed that all these kids with all this talent were people that I knew and went to class with....not some distant celebrities!! It was amazing to me that we had so much talent in our school, and Pat was a bright star.
I don't like plays and rarely go to the Fox in Atlanta. However, Pat playing Ado Annie in the musical Oklahoma brought me to my feet. Actually, everyone was great in that play! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and couldn't believe I was actually enjoying it! Pat was a sweet soul to me and I had many personable moments with her. I think of her so often and miss her very much.. so beautiful, so beautiful.
Looking thru my yearbook I found I had kept the clipping and Pat passed 12/28/04. I remember Oklahoma also. I was one of the lesser, much lesser performers. But it is still one of my fondest memories. You are all right, Pat was a fantastic Ado Annie. I can remember.
