Hi Class of 1970!!

Well, what has happened over the last 40 + years.
Got married first in 1972 . Shame to say, it lasted a very short 5 years. But, together we had a son, Derrick.

Re-married in 1978 to the "love of my life" , Debbie , still going after 38 years. I adopted her 2 beautiful children. All together, we have 3 children, Eric, Derrick and Holly, including 6 grand-children, ranging from 22 years to 7 years....so far.

I worked at Cummins Inc. in Columbus In. for 39 years. Last position was a Mfg. Engineer/ Tech Specialist on the heavy duty cylinder head and block line.

I left Madison in 1974 to be closer to work. Now reside in Edinburgh, In..

I lost my Dad in 1994 . He's now at peace!

I lost a son in 1999 at the age of 24 . He was such a beautiful person. I miss him with every breath of every day! He's with my Dad, watching over me.

After leaving Cummins Inc. in 2012 , I hired on where my wife ( Debbie ) works , at Sacoma, here in Edinburgh, for 13 months, as a parts inspector. Was something to do to keep busy.

Worked at a couple more places, though only for a short time. Haven't worked now since the end of 2013. Sort of retired, but who knows, I may look for something else, just to get busy again .

Still living here in Edinburgh. Going on 36 years.

Sending my oldest Grandson to IU . He is trying to complete his Senior year in 2015.

I really do not have any hobbies to keep me busy at home. The usual honey-do's . I usually tinker around out in my "man-cave", a 12' x 24' roomed out part of my garage, I built a couple summers ago. Kinda my hide-away.

I've enjoyed seeing fellow classmates from 1970 MCHS at the reunions . I wish I'd been a little more "out going" then and had more classmate friendships during that time.

I'm looking forward to the next Class of '70 Reunion . Hope to see each and everyone attend!
