James was a very timid person. Many of us may remember how he would carry the overstuffed brief case through the halls of MCHS and shy away from speaking with many people. When I was a freshman he was in my gym class. As you can imagine when it came to taking a shower after, he was very secluded back in the corner. He was always waiting to be the last one to shower. One of those days he came trotting by, as he passed me he tripped over my foot. He was not hurt, only embarrassed. After that episode I had always felt sorry for him. As the next three years passed I got to know him better. Too bad he passed away. I was hoping that he and I could have become better friends.
