I knew D.H. from elementary school at Dupont and at that time he was OK. Somewhere in his maturing he took a path of life that lead him down the wrong road. Sometimes I wonder what we could have done to have corrected that path. I feel for his family that had to endure the embarrasment of his choices because they are good people.

People never really knew and understood you, but as our friend, we knew you were a nice person, but had conflicts inside that could never easily be resolved. Marcia and I always considered you to be our friend, and we understood that the difficult path you chose was not of your own doing completely, and might of been different with some more love and guidance.  But we know that you are at peace now and forever, the internal struggle and conflict within you are no more and may you rest in Peace, Danny and Marcia

You were the James Dean who stood in the halls with your back to the wall and your leg half-cocked. Sure, I noticed! I thought you were a cool "rebel"!  I'm sorry I couldn't help you. If I'd only known... but I was just a kid.
