I attended Hanover College to earn my Bachelor's degree. As soon as I graduated in 1990, I started teaching in Jennings County that fall. I got my Master's degree from Ball State in 1993. I married Billy in 1993 and moved to North Vernon. We have one daughter, Karoline, who was born on my birthday in 1997.
