Debra Lehnert Auxier, Obituary from the Madison Courier

Debra S. Auxier, 57, of Fort Myers, Fla., died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, Fla.

She was born Feb 11, 1955 in Madison, the daughter of Charles F. and Delma M. Davis Lehnert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Larry Lockridge.

She was a graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and had attended Indiana University. She had been employed by the Lee County School District. She enjoyed purchasing stuffed animals and donating them to local police agencies to give to children. She loved all animals and raised Siamese cats. She also enjoyed working in her garden. She had resided in Fort Myers, Fla. since 2001.

She is survived by one daughter, Dee Anna Auxier of Fort Myers, Fla.; three brothers, Rodger Lockridge and John Lockridge, both of Madison, and Terry Lockridge of Bloomington.

A memorial service will be held in Madison at a later date. Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
