Ronald Robert Veit, 37, Oakland City, died Thursday, Jan 21, 1993 in Oakland City.
He was born in Madison on Feb. 9, 1955, the son of Robert and Betty Veit of Deputy.
He was a pipefitter, a member of the Pipefitters Union in Evansville and the Spurgeon United Methodist Church.
As a youth he was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Order of the Arrow, and received the Boy Scouts of America God and Country Award. He was a member of Troop 80 in deputy.
Survivors include: one daughter, Pamela Marie Veit, and one son, Travis Matthew Veit, both at home; his parents; one brother, Gary Lee Veit of Owensville, Ind.; and one niece.
Funeral services will be at 1pm CST Sunday at the Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, with burial at the Blackfoot Cemetary.
