Obituary from the Madison Courier

Leslie G. Wilson, 41 of Rushville, died Thursday, May 2, 1996 at his home.

He was born on Oct 3, 1954 in Mt. Vernon, Ill., the son of Robert D. and Wilma L. Wilson Wilson.  He was a 1973 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School, and a 1974 graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute. He owned and operated a Snap-On Tool franchise in Rushville until February 1996.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association, and of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Shelby County. He was a former resident of Shelbyville and Greenfield.

Surviving are his wife, Patty Flowers Wilson, one son, Matthew G. Wilson of Rushville; his father, of Shelbyville, one brother, Charles E. Wilson of Harvest Ala., and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Services will be at 10:30am Saturday at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Shelby County, with burial in the church cemetery.
