Pat was a very shy person when i first met him in jr. high. Pat always liked playing sports. He was a big REDS fan and IU HOOSIERS basketball. Pat played softball for a number of yrs. for church leagues and intermural basketball for churh leagues also. Pat and i did a lot of running around during school and even after we graduated. I would take PAT fishing as he never knew how and even showed him how to shoot a gun. I remember taking PAT out and getting him drunk and taking him home afterwards. He was sick for 2 days. We would go to all home games in football and basketball. We were both in the boys pep clug during home games and that was a lot of fun. After graduation PAT went to work for MADISON CHEMICAL and i went to work for a furniture store. PAT and i went to several REDS games when we had the chance. After getting laid off at my job i went to work at madison st. hosp. and when PAT got laid off from his job i got him on at my workplace in the kitchen working with me. PAT and i worked together for 9 1/2 yrs til i transfered to housekeeping. PAT stayed in the kitchen and me in housekeeping till i got laid off due to downsizing. PAT and i were friends thru thick-n thin for 38 1/2 yrs. til PAT passed away. I will always love him like a brother i never had and for his friendship. PAT i miss you and wish you were still here to have someone to talk too. You always had time to listen to me and i say thank you. Your best friend and buddy JERRY.
