Jeffrey died peacefully at his home on Sept. 26, 2009.

He was born June 2, 1972, in Cleveland.

A mechanic at Hauter Construction Co., Jeffrey loved working on cars and motorcycles.

Survivors are his parents, Clyde and Vickie (Mann) Groves of Madison; children, Brenden and Lacy Groves of Texas; sisters, Jody Sprafka of Eastlake, Billie Jo Strand of Willoughby and Bobbie Jean Crumrine of Jefferson; brother, Michael Miller of Painesville; and grandmother, Irene Shepherd of Mentor.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Heather Ann Kern; and grandparents, Ruth and Clyde Groves Sr., John Shepherd and Harry Mann.
