Carla Rae Dawson, age 41, of Chardon, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2013, in the loving arms of her family. Born May 3, 1972 in Akron, Ohio, to Carl (deceased) and Luana Smith. She devoted her life to her husband, Chris, and four children, Caleigh (11), Caden (9), Cate (8), and Cohen (5). She was a homemaker, a Sunday School Teacher, and a regular volunteer at her childrens' school and preschool. Carla enjoyed photography and sharing her photos with others. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, their four children, her mother, her brother, Bryan (Kelli) Smith, and numerous uncles and aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces. Family will receive visitors on Friday, June 14, 2013, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street Chardon, Ohio, from 5:00 - 8:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Leroy Community Chapel 12920 SR 86 Leroy, Ohio 44077, on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Chardon Municipal Cemetary.
