
Lindel Ray Jackson, 78, passed away June 28, 2020, at Baptist Health Madisonville. Born Aug. 10, 1941, in Madisonville to Geneva and Amos Jackson. Lindel retired as a coal miner from Pyro Mining Co.; a KY Col. and a member of Assembly of God. He was a minister of music and choir director with several churches for over 25 years; enjoyed St. Louis baseball; southern gospel music and collecting hobby trains. Lindel was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Faye Vaughn; and granddaughter, Kayleigh. Survivors are Etta Jean Jackson, wife of 61-yrs; daughter, Debbie (Donnie) Davis of Providence, KY; son, Lindel (Pam) Eugene Jackson of Slaughters, KY; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two nephews. A funeral service was July 2, 2020, at Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville, officiated by pastors Chris Manning and Johnny McCurry. Burial in Slaughters, KY.
