Lt. Col. Gerald Lee Gooch USAR Ret. passed away January 10, 2012 in Abita Springs, LA.  He is survived by his wife, Judy, one son Russell, and one daughter Andrea Starnes and two grandchildren.

Gerald graduated from Murray State University, and attained a masters from LSU.
