Jerry passed away April 26, 2014, at his home in Jacksonville Fla.  

He was born Feb. 4, 1942, in Madisonville to the late Tom and Cora Kirkwood McLemore.

He served in the navy from 1962 to 1965.

Jerry retired after 30 years, in management, from Delta Airlines. He was recently employed at Edwin Watts Golf as a sales associate. 

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 17 years, Donis Welborn McLemore and three children. Jeff (Yukino) of Monticello, Fla., John (Traci) of Elberfeld, Ind. and  Suzanne (Mike) Shebelski of Williamson, Ga. and seven grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sisters, Pam Crane of Dawson Springs and Cherrie Christian of Madisonivlle..

Funeral Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday, April 30, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Heart Association or The American Diabetes Associaton in Jerry's memory.
