Ralph passed away Nov. 22, 2014, in Joilet, IL., at the age of 72.

Ralph was born July 18, 1942 in Henderson, Ky. the son of Will Tom and Bernie Kathryn (Sowards) Vandiver.  He served in the United States Air Force and retired as a Sr. Master Sargeant.  He received an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Joliet Junior College.  He was active in the First Christain Church in Wilmington and enjoyed wood working.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Doris (Thompson); daughters, Michele Vandiver and Cheryl (Kevin) McElroy; grandchildren Jacob, Austin, and Kayla McElroy; brothers Tom (Ellen) Vandiver and Garland (Ann) Vandiver.

Visitation was held at Baskerville Funeral Home in Wilmington, Nov. 25, 2014.  Funeral Services were Nov. 26, and burial with full military honors was at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
