Sharon died in a traffic accident in April 1965, on the U S 41 by pass.  She was survived by her husband, Ralph Melton and a daughter, Kelly (2 yrs), her parents Mr. & Mrs. Charles Ben Ashby, a sister, Patty, and a brother, Charles Ben Jr.
