Elizabeth died April 6, 2000 at the age of 58, in the Smyth County Va. Community Hospital.  She was born in Madsonville, Ky. and was a member of the Groseclose First Church of God.  Her home was in Rural Retreat, Va.

She is survived by her husband, Noah; daughter Betsey Wingo and two sons, Stephen and Chris all of Rural Retreat; one sister Mary Barber of Madisonville, Ky.; four brothers, Eddie of Dawson Springs, Ky., James, Andrew, and Thomas all of Madisonville; one granddaughter Kara Elise Wingo; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held April 9 at 2 PM in Bradley's Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Putman officiating. Burial followed in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens in Rural Retreat.
