Brent passed away January 16, 2006 and resided in Hanson KY.

He is survived by wife, Pat, a son Jeff, two daughters Jamie Hobgood and Jinger Thorne, a sister Marde, and four grandchildren.

His parents Welby and Donnie and a brother Kristen, preceeded his death.

Brent was owner of Hobgood Sporting Goods and a Manager for Carhartt Outlets, was employed by Bell South.  He was a US Airforce Veteran having served in the Vietnam War.
