Charles died January 12, 2007 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was survived by his wife, Marilyn, one daughter Leslie Morrow, one son Brian, three grandsons, two granddaughters and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Evers and Lucille and a brother Paul Evers.  He was a member of the Methodist Church.

He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the US Air Force and served as a navigator in many foreign countries and on several stateside bases, retiring as a Major in 1982.  After retirement he continued his avid interest in aviaton in various related fields.
