Shelia died September 29, 1997 in Fort Wayne Indiana.

She is survived by her husband Bob, her mother Jauanita Murphy and her father Fred and his wife Velma, three brothers, John Jr., Mike, and Brian,  son Bob, daughter Ann and three sisters, Charlotte Lynn, Pauletta Whitmer, and Karen Vickers, and three grandchildren.
